"DD: Father"... Possibly the worst Dd story ever.
Even worse than the Kruel saga, and, Man, you know how I hate the friggin' Kruel saga!
Your post made me go back to this mini. I random-picked a scene : issue 4, the death of Nero's father.
He's asked to kill his son, refuses and points the gun to KP yelling insults and... gets shot. And KP let the boy leave.
This scene SUCKS. And the mini is filled with scenes like that...
Yeah, that scene sucks. Apart from the complete lack of sense, Kingpin is shown to be gratuitously sadistic.
Except for rare cases (with Murdock in Born Again, where he takes pleasure to destroy the life of the only one honest person he has even encountered), Kingpin wouldn't have done something so unconvenient just for mere cruelty.
